Catherine Gruetzke-Blais

Catherine Gruetzke-Blais is a fine artist and art teacher living in Framingham, MA. She works in a variety of paint media, with special interest in nature, color, and surface texture. Her designs have been chosen for public art projects, most recently in Natick, MA. You can visit her painted electrical box with "Red Hawk and Friends" along Rt. 135. Catherine's paintings have been on display in many area galleries and shows, including the Hopkinton Center for the Arts "Bloom" show and at the Arnold Arboretum. She is employed as an art teacher at the Fay School in Southborough and paints in her studio at Howard Street Studios in Framingham. Ms. Gruetzke-Blais holds B.F.A. and M.A.T. Degrees from Tufts University in affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
